Job description

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager, Security, this position is responsible for ensuring the safety of team members, guests, the facility, and company assets. The role involves maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, enforcing policies, and supporting the company's learning culture.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor and report violations, hazards, and suspicious activities
  • Enforce restricted access
  • Observe transactions and handle cash-related duties
  • Escort cash and report found property
  • Conduct patrols of the facility
  • Escort guests and team members as needed
  • Perform ID checks and refer disputes
  • Manage crowd control and surveillance activities
  • Assist with guest enrollment in programs
  • Coordinate with operational departments and build relationships
  • Ensure compliance with laws and safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience
  • Serving It Right Certificate
  • Guard Force Training (asset)
  • Occupational First Aid Level 2 (asset)
  • Willing to recertify for Use of Force every 3 years
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License

Work Environment

  • Casino environment, standing and walking for long periods
