Royal Coatings in Ottawa, ON is hiring a Floor Coating Technician to grind concrete, apply epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, and turn bare garages and warehouses into long‑lasting floors.

This part‑time onsite role offers a clear path to full‑time as the crew grows. You’ll bring your own vehicle, handle demanding manual work, and receive hands‑on training on equipment and systems.

Qualificações

• You own a vehicle and have reliable transportation to job sites across Ottawa and surrounding areas.
• You are able to perform demanding manual labour, long days, and work in tight spaces such as garages and basements.

Responsabilidades

• Grind concrete floors with a diamond grinder to prep surfaces.
• Patch cracks and imperfections before applying coatings.
• Mix and apply epoxy and polyaspartic coatings.
• Broadcast decorative flake or quartz into wet coatings.
• Clean and load equipment at the end of the day.

What You Will Do Each Day:

• Arrive on site by 7:30 to 8am and work alongside one or two crew members and the site lead.

• Diamond grind concrete floors to prep the surface.

• Patch cracks and imperfections before coating.

• Mix and apply epoxy and polyaspartic coatings.

• Broadcast decorative flake or quartz into wet coatings.

• Clean and load equipment at the end of the day.
