Float Pool Critical Care Nurse Faulkner - 36 hr Nights

The Staff Nurse is a registered professional nurse in Massachusetts responsible for planning and delivering patient care according to Nursing Standards of Care outlined in the Clinical Practice Manual. This role requires initiative, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage patients with complex needs by conducting assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The nurse reports directly to a nurse manager or supervisor and practices within a Patient and Family Centered Care Model that exemplifies best practices.

Role Specifics

1. This is a Critical Care RN position, responsible for emergency responses across departments, including Rapid Response, Code Blue, Code Stroke, and outpatient Code Blue calls.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• 2-3 years ICU experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or to be obtained by the end of orientation.
• Adherence to all I C.A.R.E. standards.
• Evidence of analytic thinking and observational skills necessary for patient care.
• Ability to prioritize and function effectively under stress.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to apply hospital standards, teamwork, respect, and time management.
