The Staff Nurse is a registered professional nurse in Massachusetts responsible for planning and delivering patient care according to Nursing Standards of Care outlined in the Clinical Practice Manual. This role requires initiative, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage patients with complex needs by conducting assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The nurse reports directly to a nurse manager or supervisor and practices within a Patient and Family Centered Care Model that exemplifies best practices.
