Job summary

Airbus in Mirabel, QC, Canada, seeks a Test Bench System Engineering Specialist to lead end-to-end ground test bench development for the A220 program. You will manage architectural development of integrated flight-test benches combining hydraulic, electrical, and flight control systems, and support commissioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with test bench instrumentation is required.
• In-depth expertise in test bench design.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
• Proactive mindset with passion for aerospace systems integration.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines within an integrated team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of ground test benches from end to end to commissioning.
• Provide system cost estimates for bench projects.
• Maintain and operate the test bench facility to ensure availability and validity.
• Train new employees within the area of expertise.
• Handle technical aspects of product integration and testing, including software components.
• Translate functional requirements from engineering centers into test benches.
