Job summary

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited in Calgary is seeking a Lead Aircraft Controller to coordinate and report flight and ground test preparation activities across all phases of a flight test program. You will ensure maintenance, modifications, instrumentation, and systems readiness to support safe testing.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration with engineering, maintenance, operations and management, focusing on safety, quality, and operational excellence within a regulated aerospace

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or related field;Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in a transport-category flight test environment preferred.
• Experience coordinating aircraft maintenance, modification, or flight test support activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, and control maintenance and modification activities on flight test vehicles.
• Provide coordination support for short-term flight test planning and daily aircraft preparation activities.
• Assemble flight test work packages for the Aircraft Support Team and ensure readiness before test execution.
• Conduct pre-flight briefings with flight test crews regarding status and readiness.
• Track and resolve maintenance items, discrepancies, and snags.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to meet test objectives.
