Salary: $80,000 - $86,000 CAD per year

Duties:
- Participate in developing ITPS Flight Test Instrumentation schedules and meet milestones (installation, configuration, calibration, first ground run, first flight, closing of flight test campaign);
- Develop work packages for installation, removal, and calibration of Flight Test Instrumentation equipment to meet test requirements;
- Calibrate signals (Sensors, Data Acquisition Systems) for each flight test campaign and maintain calibration validity;
- Configure Data Acquisition Systems to meet testing requirements;
- Record data during ground runs and flight tests while operating the Data Acquisition System on board test beds;
- Monitor data acquisition and data validity in flight or on the ground as required;
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues as needed;
- Interface with program teams, maintenance, pilots, flight Test Specialists or Engineers;
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and related business innovations;
- Work in a closely integrated team to provide contracted flight test services;
- Deliver ground school lectures on relevant subjects;
- Provide data analysis tutorials;
- Participate in internal projects to modify ITPS’s fleet of test aircraft;
- Instruct and mentor student test pilots and flight test Instrumentation Technicians;
- Travel abroad occasionally to support company projects.
Requirements:
- Completion of a college diploma as an electrical or electronic Technician;
- Completion of a certified course in flight test instrumentation configuration and data gathering, or relevant work experience in lieu of formal training;
- Familiarity with and/or training in Symvionics Inc. IADS software;
- At least 5 years of experience in developmental and certification Flight Test Instrumentation system design and integration.
