Your future at Skyservice:

As a key member of our owner services team, the Account Manager serves as the primary liaison for all aspects of client aircraft operations. Collaborating closely with the flight coordinator, you'll ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You'll work alongside the flight operations team to guarantee the readiness and capability of aircraft and crew for client trips. Your role extends to facilitating communication and coordination with maintenance teams for both scheduled and unscheduled events. Moreover, you'll liaise with fixed-base operations to ensure efficient hangarage, storage, and other amenities for seamless arrivals, departures and everything in between, overseeing the management of your client’s aircraft as a whole.

Overview of role:

As a Flight Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role within our team, collaborating closely with the flight crew and account managers to meticulously plan and execute trips across our entire fleet. From the initial request to route planning, arranging ground services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as airports, air traffic control, customs, and airspace restrictions and permits, you'll be instrumental in optimizing efficiencies, enhancing flight safety, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
  • Provide comprehensive support to Flight Crew and Client Account Managers throughout the entire flight management process, from pre-flight arrangements to in-flight support and post-flight duties.
  • Ensure accurate completion of flight routing and itineraries for clients, maintaining compliance with flight crew duty time and rest regulations, as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
  • Manage customs scheduling and notifications, pre-alerting customs and immigration agencies of confirmed flight assignments.
  • Obtain necessary foreign government landing, overflight permits, and handling for international flights, verifying operational requirements.
  • Assist in implementing operational changes to flight schedules, including revising arrangements and securing suitable replacement aircraft, in coordination with Flight Crew, Maintenance, and Client Account Managers.
  • Monitor airport conditions, weather, airspace, and air traffic control restrictions, providing pertinent information to Flight Crew and Client Account Managers.
  • Conduct risk analyses for new or "high-risk" destinations in collaboration with management and Flight Crew.
  • Support charter sales by assisting in trip quoting and route planning, identifying efficient and safe routes.
  • Validate aircraft and crew positions and confirm Minimum Equipment List (MEL) status.
  • Monitor flight progress and deliver operational information as required.
  • Perform post-trip duties, including reviewing and updating flight log data, conducting post-flight retrospectives, and assisting Account Managers with client profile amendments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in aviation management, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in business aviation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
  • Highly adaptable to change and working under pressure.
  • Team player with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
