The Flexographic Printing Press Operator is responsible for maintaining all phases of production while meeting production expectations. Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance, maintaining high-quality standards, general housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Equipment Safely & Efficiently: Run the press in a safe and responsible manner, consistently delivering high-quality finished products that exceed standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensure Compliance with Customer-Specific Requirements: Identify and meet all Tier 5 customer-specific needs to ensure satisfaction and adherence to unique specifications.
  • Maintain Accurate Scheduling: Update live production schedules in SAP to support efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively across departments to identify, prioritize, and implement improvement initiatives that enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Support Equipment Reliability: Conduct routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and operational readiness.
  • Achieve Performance Targets: Consistently meet production goals while maintaining quality standards and ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
  • Participate in Team Engagement: Contribute actively to team meetings, sharing ideas and feedback to support team success and workplace innovation.
  • Support Issue Resolution: Partner with the Technical Team Lead to address and resolve Corrective and Improvement Requests (CIRs) in a timely manner.
  • Follow Quality and Compliance Standards: Adhere to the Jones Healthcare Group Quality Management System and maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Health & Safety protocols.
  • Champion Environmental and Safety Practices: Uphold all applicable environmental and safety standards in accordance with ISO 14001 and the company’s Health & Safety Management System.
What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of previous flexographic printing experience. Experience with thermal label, pressure sensitive, or any label experience is considered an asset
  • High School Diploma

  • Availability to work Day (7am-3pm), Afternoon (3pm-11pm) and Night (11pm-7am) shifts, on a 2-week rotating basis
