Jones Healthcare Group in Ontario, Canada is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator to operate Lombardi and Gallus presses, ensuring safe, high-quality label production and compliance with GMPs.

You will follow production schedules, perform routine maintenance, support continuous improvement, and collaborate across teams to meet production goals.

Qualificações

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Flexographic printing certification or related training is asset.
2+ years operating flexographic web printing presses.
Experience in printing/packaging industry preferred.
Knowledge of flexographic processes, quality standards, and press troubleshooting.
Experience with production schedules and manufacturing systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
Proficiency with computer-based production and reporting systems.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proactive safety, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

Operate and monitor Lombardi and/or Gallus flexographic presses to deliver high-quality products that meet production standards.
Follow production schedules to support on-time delivery and efficient workflow.
Verify customer-specific requirements and ensure finished products meet quality and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate production records and data entry.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
Partner with technical, quality, and operations teams to implement process improvements.
Document and communicate quality, equipment, safety, and production concerns for timely corrective actions.
Follow all SOPs, GMPs, health and safety requirements, and environmental standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
Collaborate across teams to achieve operational goals.

As a Flexographic Press Operator, you'll operate and optimize flexographic printing equipment, such as Lombardi and Gallus presses, to produce high-quality label products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. You'll lead by example on the production floor, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain the standards that drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Accountable For

Press Operations: Safely set up, operate, and monitor Lombardi and/or Gallus flexographic presses to deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed production standards.
Production Execution: Follow production schedules and priorities to support on-time delivery and efficient workflow.
Quality Assurance: Verify customer-specific requirements and ensure finished products meet quality expectations and regulatory standards.
System Accuracy: Maintain accurate production records and data entry within business and quality management systems.
Equipment Care: Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections to maximize uptime and performance.
Continuous Improvement: Partner with technical, quality, and operations teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements.
Issue Resolution: Document and communicate quality, equipment, safety, and production concerns to support timely corrective actions.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all SOPs, GMPs, health and safety requirements, environmental standards, and quality management system processes.
Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment through strong housekeeping practices.
Team Collaboration: Participate in departmental meetings and work collaboratively across teams to achieve operational goals.

What You’ll Bring

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Flexographic printing certification or related training is considered an asset.
2+ years of experience operating flexographic web printing presses.
Experience within the printing and/or packaging industry is preferred.
Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, quality standards, and press troubleshooting.
Experience working with production schedules and manufacturing systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
Proficiency with computer-based production and reporting systems.
