Job summary

Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation seeks a School Support Staff/Flex Assistant to supervise students during lunch and recess and perform light clerical duties. The role is based at Glenwood K8, with 40 weeks/year and 3 hours daily during lunch/recess, at $11.70/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to present information clearly to administrators, teachers, school board, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and recess.
• Escort children to and from various areas as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks during busy periods.
• Operate standard office equipment (computer, word processing, data entry, telephone, calculator, copy machines).
• Present a pleasant, helpful attitude toward staff, students, parents and visitors.
