Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide support for a friendly 32-year-old man with learning disabilities at Pennant. • Kind, reliable and enthusiastic PA to support a 32-year-old man with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive companionship and encouragement.
• Help build confidence and independence in daily life.
• Support access to social and leisure activities.
• Assist with developing practical life skills (e.g. using public transport, accessing services).
• Encourage participation in hobbies and new interests.
• Prompt with meals and hydration when needed.
• Support with ordering food and drinks when out.
• Communicate effectively with his family and care team to ensure consistent support.
• Keep his family/support team informed of activities and any concerns.
• Always ensure his safety and wellbeing.
