Job summary

Scotiabank seeks a Financial Planner to develop and deepen client relationships by providing high-quality investment and financial planning advice within the mass affluent market. You will leverage external networks and centres of influence to grow your practice and serve clients where convenient.

You will promote investment solutions, adhere to Global Sales Principles and regulatory requirements, and drive new business with clients and prospects in your designated market area.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
• MFDA licensing in good standing (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
• PFP designation and/or CFP designation.
• Proven networking, client acquisition and interpersonal skills; experience building Centres of Influence (COIs).
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, able to work independently within a team.
• Knowledge of market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive offerings.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to meet clients in the district.
