Job summary

Foundation Health Canada is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to assist clients in home care and community settings in Mississauga. You will support aging, injured or ill individuals with daily living activities and participate in care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate or equivalent credential.
• RN/RPN, Paramedic, or OT/PT student with year one completed.
• Home Support/HC Aide certificates accepted.
• Developmental Support Worker certificate accepted.
• Clear background check and immunization records required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, bathing and dressing.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients on outings or to exercise.
• Perform basic meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
• Support client’s total care program and delegated tasks.
• Remind clients about medications and appointments.
