Job summary

Spectrum Health Care is hiring Registered Physiotherapists to deliver ministry-funded physiotherapy services in clients' homes and via virtual visits across Canada. This independent contractor role offers flexible part-time or full-time caseloads with per-visit compensation and an estimated annual earning potential between CAD 82,000 and CAD 102,000.

Qualifications

• Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (required).
• Valid G2 or G driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle for community travel.
• Community-based physiotherapy experience is an asset; new grads welcome.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within an inter-professional team.
• Strong organizational skills, including self-scheduling, prioritization, and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and report-writing communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and proprietary clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Provide ministry-funded, community-based physiotherapy services within clients’ homes and/or through virtual service delivery.
• Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments using interviews, standardized tools, and informal assessment techniques in geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and palliative care.
• Develop and implement goal-oriented, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers.
• Assign, supervise, and monitor physiotherapy assistants, when appropriate.
• Provide education to clients and caregivers and connect them to appropriate community resources.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation including assessment findings, care plans, progress and discharge summaries, aligned with referral sources and CPO standards.
