Job summary

Spectrum Health Care seeks Registered Occupational Therapists to deliver ministry-funded, community-based services in clients’ homes and through virtual care. You will assess needs, plan interventions, and collaborate with clients and caregivers to improve function.

Hybrid caseloads and flexible scheduling support work–life balance. New graduates are welcome; strong clinical reasoning and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
• Ability to work independently within a community-based model.
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills.
• New graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide ministry-funded, community-based occupational therapy services in clients’ homes and/or via virtual care.
• Conduct occupational therapy assessments using interviews, standardized tools, and informal assessment techniques (home safety, equipment prescription, fall prevention, mobility, cognition, stroke rehab).
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans with clients and caregivers.
• Assign, supervise, and monitor OT assistants as appropriate.
