Job summary

Movati Athletic Inc. is seeking a Custodian to help maintain clean, welcoming, and healthy facilities in our clubs. You will keep our club clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing, interact with members, and contribute to a memorable Movati experience.

The role supports Monday to Friday with some weekend coverage, and offers an hourly wage of $18.00–$25.00 CAD. Accommodations include complimentary membership, a free uniform, flexible hours, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Indoor and outdoor working conditions year-round in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and a mix of standing, sitting, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling
• Ability to lift medium to heavy objects

Responsibilities

• Keep the club clean, orderly and in a healthy, safe, sanitary condition
• Carry out routine building and grounds maintenance and inspections
• Complete cleaning and custodial duties daily respecting deadlines and club traffic flow
• Escalate custodial, maintenance and safety issues to Facilities Services Manager for resolution
• Ensure safety of members, property and staff by following WHMIS and Workplace Health & Safety policies
