Job summary

Movati Athletic (Group) Inc. is seeking Custodians to maintain clean, safe club facilities and greet members with a memorable Movati experience. You will help keep the club presentable, manage routine maintenance, and ensure timely cleaning in line with member flow.

The role emphasizes daily custodial duties, safety adherence, and delivering a welcoming environment for members. Compensation is hourly ($17.60–$25.00), based on experience and education, with accommodations available as needed.

Qualifications

• Indoor/outdoor work year-round in various weather conditions, depending on location.
• Ability to complete repetitive tasks and mix of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling.
• Ability to lift medium to heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the club and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, sanitary and timely manner.
• Carry out routine building and grounds maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Ensure cleaning and custodial work duties are completed daily in accordance with deadlines, considering club traffic and member expectations.
• Escalate custodial, maintenance and safety issues to Facilities Services Manager for resolution.
• Ensure the safety of all members, property and staff by following WHMIS and Workplace Health & Safety policies.
