Job description

This is an interview position.

To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, responsibilities include reviewing orders prior to delivery, load/unload vehicle, and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

Flexible shift opportunities are available, with minimum and maximum hours and days of work determined based on business requirements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Post Secondary: High school diploma or educational equivalent.
  • Professional accreditation/certification: Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.
  • Related Experience Requirements: None required; one year of customer-oriented business experience is preferred.
  • Time to learn or adjust to the job: Approximately 3 months.
  • Other specific mandatory experience requirements: In Quebec, bilingual in French and English.
Technical Skill Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of relevant operations.
  • Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
  • Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is a plus.
Interpersonal Skill Requirements
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a highly pressured environment.
