Job description

This is an interview position.

To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, responsibilities include reviewing orders prior to delivery, load/unload vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service.

Flexible shift opportunities are available; minimum and maximum hours, as well as days of work, will be determined based on business requirements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Post Secondary: High school diploma or educational equivalent.
  • Professional accreditation/certification: Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.
  • Related Experience: None required; 1 year customer-oriented business experience preferred.
  • Adjustment Period: Approximately 3 months to learn or adapt to the job.
  • Mandatory Experience: In Quebec, bilingual (French and English) required.
Technical Skills
  • Solid knowledge of relevant operations.
  • Must meet minimum thresholds on driver assessment training.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is an asset.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a high-pressure environment.

Additional Notes: The job description is general and not exhaustive. Candidates must be able to perform all duties assigned, complete mandatory training, operate in a PC Windows environment, and maintain necessary certifications. For Quebec residents, bilingualism is required. Drivers must have a clean driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months, and will be assessed accordingly.
