Applications are invited for the position of Fleet Technician within the City of North Bay’s Infrastructure and Operations Division.As a Fleet Technician, under the direction of the Fleet Supervisor or designate, carries out all functions of a fully qualified Certified Truck and Coach Technician; maintains and completes manual and computerized records of repairs as required using a “Fleet Management System”; carries out related work as directed including preventive maintenance, diagnostic investigations, service, mandatory and statutory maintenance and repair; complies with current Provincial safety legislations.
Selection Criteria for Fleet Technician:
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Duration: Permanent Full-time
Environment: Unionized
Hourly Rate: Range - $37.70 - $39.95 per hour
Evening Shift Premium - $1.75 per hour
Sunday Shift Premium - $2.00 per hour
Ability to earn an additional $0.75 per hour for licenses/certificates to a maximum of a combination of three licenses/certifications:
