Job description

CDN is a recognized industry leader in the energy services sector. CDN is a full-service provider with expertise in E&I maintenance, renewables/solar, major projects, combustion & emissions reduction, and measurement.

We are looking to hire a Fleet and Rental Shop Hand based out of our Grande Prairie branch.

The Fleet & Rental Shop hand is responsible to provide full support to the Fleet and Rental division including general workshop duties, maintaining the shop in a clean and safe operating manner, and supporting a safe and reliable fleet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete pick-up and delivery of tools and fleet vehicles.
  • Conduct sign in/out of tools and fleet.
  • Prepare company trucks for work, including cleaning, setting up tools and placing decals.
  • Prepare fleet and rental orders for shipments to other branches or projects.
  • Tag new equipment with CDN tags for tracking and identification purposes.
  • Participate in branch-to-branch asset audits.
  • Perform hotshots as required.
  • Assist with the set-up of monthly safety meetings.
  • Complete regular shop, forklift and truck inspections.
  • Conduct general shop maintenance and cleaning.
  • All other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in maintenance and asset management in a fleet environment is an asset.
  • Completion of a High School diploma.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean Drivers Abstract.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Steel toed work boots.
  • Forklift ticket preferred.
