We have a full-time position for aFleet Operations AssistantinKelowna, British Columbia.

What you will be doing:

This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in an active outdoor environment, and enjoys supporting a busy operations team. You’ll assist with yard organization, equipment handling, fleet tracking, and general coordination duties.

Operations Support

  • Assist with coordinating incoming and outgoing fleet movements, including deliveries, returns, and relocations.
  • Help with inbound and outbound unit inspections under supervision, checking for damages and quality.
  • Assist in prepping buildings for transport, cleaning, basic setup, and working with contractors when needed.

Yard and Fleet Coordination

  • Support daily yard activities such as tracking equipment locations, organizing units, and maintaining clean, orderly workspaces.
  • Operate yard equipment (e.g., forklift) under training and supervision to move fleet assets.
  • Perform physical inventory counts for units and materials, reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.

Safety and Maintenance Assistance

  • Participate in safety briefings and assist with inspection checklists and documentation using eCompliance tools.
  • Help ensure that safety protocols are followed by staff and visitors in the yard.
  • Provide general support with minor repairs, maintenance coordination, or material pickups.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in a general labor, logistics, fleet, or warehouse environment preferred (but not required).
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physical tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) for tracking and communication.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to travel locally on occasion.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate safely in a yard environment.
  • Forklift experience or license is an asset; we are willing to train the right person.
  • Reliable, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and support the broader team.
