Job Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance and safety inspections on trailers.
- Conduct minor to moderate repairs and major repairs as needed.
- Provide on-site or roadside response to troubleshoot issues.
- Diagnose and evaluate reported symptoms and problems.
- Troubleshoot technical faults efficiently.
- Enter work orders, document time, parts used, and repair details accurately.
- Communicate effectively and provide timely updates to team and clients.
- Work on a wide variety of equipment brands and types.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and department SOPs.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in heavy-duty mechanics.
- Class 1 license is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in computer skills related to diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks.
