Job summary

The Brick is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our fleet team in Edmonton. You will help move products from our distribution center to stores, shunt trailers, inspect vehicles for safety, and perform light maintenance on trucks.

A strong customer service orientation is essential as you represent The Brick in a dynamic, team-driven environment. Applicants should have a Class 1 license with a clean record, a high school diploma, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver's license with clean abstract.
• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent customer service and ability to represent the company.
• Able to solve problems or refer to resource persons.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work according to needs.

Responsibilities

• Make product transfers from the distribution center to stores.
• Shunt trailers in the yard as needed.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer to ensure compliance with laws.
• Perform minor maintenance on the truck.

Responsibilities

• Make product transfers from the distribution center to the stores
• Shunt trailers in the yard as needed
• Process an inspection of the vehicle and trailer to make sure everything is in accordance within the laws
• Perform minor maintenance on the truck

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver's license and and clean abstract
• High school diploma
• Have 1 year of job-related experience
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and to represent the company well
• To be able to solve the problems adequately or to refer to the resource persons to solve them
• Know how to organize and prioritize work according to needs
