Job summary

McElhanney Ltd. in Vancouver seeks a Fleet and Equipment Coordinator to support surveying, construction, engineering, or warehouse operations.

This role offers a fast-paced environment, autonomy, and collaboration with a diverse team to ensure equipment readiness and efficient project delivery. You will manage vehicle fleets, track equipment, organize maintenance, purchase new gear, and coordinate with Survey Managers to meet project needs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with vehicles and equipment.
  • Experience with pulling trailers and loading ATVs/snowmobiles.
  • Experience using Trimble survey equipment and related software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; detail oriented and team player.

Responsibilities

  • Manage company vehicle fleet tracking and maintenance for on-road and off-road vehicles.
  • Track equipment location and storage using spreadsheets or other software.
  • Organize maintenance and service activities.
  • Purchase and deploy new equipment.
  • Liaise with Survey Manager and staff to address project needs.

  • Manage company vehicle fleet dealing with tracking and maintenance of on-road and off-road vehicles

What Can We Offer You?

The salary range for this position is $ 7 0 ,000 - $ 9 5 ,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
