We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic team as a Fleet Assistant. This position offers hands-on experience in fleet operations and management within the transportation sector. You will work closely with our seasoned fleet managers and gain exposure to the intricacies of maintaining and optimizing a diverse fleet of vehicles.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Assist in monitoring and coordinating fleet activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Learn to schedule and prioritize vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Support in tracking fleet performance metrics and preparing reports.
  • Help manage driver schedules and assignments.
  • Gain insight into optimizing multiple variables to reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve fleet-related issues.
  • Requirements :
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in the transportation industry is considered an asset
  • Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and clean driving abstract.
  • Full SGI Class 5 drivers license and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
