Empire Roofing Corporation – Flat Roofer (GTA, ON)

Empire Roofing Corporation is looking for an experienced Flat Roofer in GTA, ON to join our team. We are a busy construction/roofing company serving the industrial and commercial sectors. For over 40 years, Empire Roofing Corporation has continued to grow our workforce and is seeking individuals for full-time, year-round employment. We seek reliable, dependable, and motivated individuals who can learn and grow within our company. We typically use one flat roofing system – TPO, one of the cleanest roofing systems to work with. Key Responsibilities

• Install and replace commercial roofing systems, particularly TPO
• Install vapor barriers and insulation layers on flat roof decks, ensuring proper seam sealing
• Work on single-ply roofing systems, including installation, repair, and replacement
• Complete roofing tasks for both new builds and re-roofing projects
• Support fellow crew members with job duties as needed
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial roofing production
• Proficiency in TPO roofing applications
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Familiarity with roofing tools such as heat welders, robot welders, tear-off gear, and hydraulic hoists
• Ability to identify and fix leaks
• Capable of lifting to 45 kg (100 lbs.)
• Understanding of Ontario safety standards
• Access to necessary tools and safety equipment
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
