Job summary

Adastra is seeking a Flag Football Data Product Analyst to lead integration of data into the central data platform and coordinate across clubs, markets, vendors, and federations. The role connects business stakeholders with data engineering, analytics, governance, and privacy teams to build a scalable data ecosystem.

Primary location is Across Canada with a fully remote work model. This is a Contractor position expanding data capabilities for global participation measurement and fan analytics.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in data product management, data strategy, analytics, or related field.
  • Experience leading data integration or data platform initiatives.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, onboarding, and integration of data into the central data platform.
  • Coordinate data acquisition across clubs, markets, vendors, and partners.
  • Manage data roadmap, priorities, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Translate business needs into data requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Establish standardized data definitions, collection methodologies, and reporting frameworks.
  • Partner with engineering, analytics, governance, and privacy teams to move data sources into production.
  • Support onboarding through profiling, validation, testing, and quality assessment.
  • Develop inventory of data sources and integration opportunities.
  • Coordinate program updates and executive reporting.
  • Support development of global participation measurement methodologies.

Overview

The Flag Football Data Product Analyst will play a critical role in advancing the Flag Football Data & Analytics program by leading the integration of data into the Client's central data platform and coordinating efforts across clubs, international markets, vendors, federations, registration providers, and league partners. The role serves as the connective point between business stakeholders, external partners, data engineering, analytics, governance, and privacy teams to establish a scalable and governed Flag Football data ecosystem.

Primary Location: Across Canada

Work Model: Fully Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the discovery, onboarding, and integration of Flag Football data sources into the central data platform
  • Coordinate data acquisition efforts across clubs, international markets, leagues, federations, vendors, registration providers, and other third-party partners
  • Manage the Flag Football data roadmap, priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
  • Translate business needs into data requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and monitoring needs
  • Establish and maintain standardized data definitions, collection methodologies, schemas, and reporting frameworks
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, analytics, governance, privacy, and business teams to move data sources from discovery through production
  • Support source onboarding through data profiling, validation, testing, quality assessment, and issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of Flag Football data sources and integration opportunities
  • Coordinate recurring program updates, executive reporting, and cross-functional working sessions
  • Support the development of global participation measurement methodologies and reporting
  • Help establish participant-level data models, identity management approaches, and consent-aware data practices
  • Enable analytical capabilities that connect participation data to fan engagement, retention, and fandom outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years of experience in data product management, data strategy, analytics, business analysis, or a related field
  • Experience leading complex data integration or data platform initiatives from planning through implementation
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, APIs, file-based integrations, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional programs involving both technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience gathering requirements, defining business processes, and translating needs into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using SQL and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience working with sports, participation, registration, membership, fan, consumer, or youth-related data
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors, international organizations, or decentralized business partners
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, privacy requirements, consent management, and data quality practices
  • Experience with participant identity resolution, customer data platforms, or master data management initiatives
  • Experience developing KPI frameworks, dashboards, executive reporting, and self-service analytics solutions
  • Knowledge of research methodologies, survey-based measurement, and longitudinal analytics
  • Experience working with AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or similar modern data platforms
