Base salary

$35.64/hour (CAD)

Your daily role

Under the supervision of the maintenance foreman, you will ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and optimization of steam boilers and all related equipment.

• Ensure the proper functioning of steam boilers;
• Perform and analyze chemical test results;
• Establish tracking of weekly tasks and preventative maintenance;
• Ensure compliance with MMF standards and regulations;
• Mentor apprentices aspiring to class 4;
• Understand and analyze the efficiencies of steam boilers in the stationary engine room;
• Propose and implement solutions to optimize process performance;
• Monitor, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of auxiliary systems in the room.

Your profile

• DEP in Mechanics of Fixed Machines and Mechanic Skill of Fixed Machine Class 3;
• Ability to work standing and seated;
• Ability to work in ambient or freezing conditions.
