Job summary

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in Toronto invites an internship with the Developed Markets Fixed Income & Foreign Exchange (DMFIFX) team. Based in our brand-new downtown office, you will be part of the team focused on global Fixed Income investing, playing a role in the team's active risk-taking process, and supporting portfolio managers.

DMFIFX is a dynamic, alpha-only team with an excellent track record in deploying risk under a wide variety of trading strategies.

Qualifications

• Passion for financial markets and eagerness to learn.
• Strong research skills and willingness to learn.
• High standard of work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to communicate market concepts clearly.
• Experience with AI-assisted programming.

Responsibilities

• Work with portfolio managers to support the construction and testing of new investment strategies
• Build dashboards to support market monitoring, trade screening, and decision-making across our investment platform
• Develop a deep understanding of global fixed income markets and synthesize your views into trade recommendations
• Assist with trade tagging and ad hoc performance reconciliation
