Job Title: FIX Data Protocol Specialist

Your new role

As a FIX Data Protocol Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol-based systems. You will work closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless electronic trading communication and data integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and maintaining FIX connectivity for trading platforms and clients.
• Troubleshooting and resolving FIX protocol issues in real-time trading environments.
• Collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to implement new FIX connections.
• Monitoring message flows and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Documenting FIX specifications and client configurations.
• Participating in onboarding new clients and conducting certification testing.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience with FIX protocol (4.2/4.4/5.0) in a trading or financial services environment.
• Solid understanding of electronic trading workflows (equities, FX, derivatives, etc.).
• Proficiency in log analysis, message parsing, and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell) and monitoring tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
