Job description

F45 Training is the fastest growing fitness franchise in the world. We are a premium training system offering 45 minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) classes.

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, motivating, knowledgeable, and charismatic trainer to join our F45 Belleville team. F45 coaches play a vital role within the team; to coach classes, work within a team of personal trainers, and deliver the F45 experience to the community. You will be working closely with the Membership and Operations Managers to foster and retain current members and welcome new members.

The ideal candidate has a passion for health and fitness, is energetic and enthusiastic, and possesses excellent verbal communication skills. All workouts and music are programmed ahead of time by F45 headquarters so that our trainers can focus on creating a great experience and modify / scale the workout for members. Sales experience and F45 experience are considered assets. Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate and deliver highly energetic and fun pre-programmed F45 workouts for up to 30 members.
• Perform and demonstrate all exercises in class with modifications as needed.
• Ensure that all members are getting attention during class, performing exercises safely and correctly, while keeping them motivated and encouraged.
• Collaborate with and report to management team to discuss daily, weekly, and monthly goals for yourself and the community.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, energetic, and fun studio.
• Assist the membership manager in performing fitness consultations.
• Ensure training floor and equipment is tidy before, during, and after each workout.
• Help to build the F45 Belleville community.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Valid Personal Training Certification or Group Fitness Instructor through a nationally recognized organization such as Canfit-Pro, ISSA or similar.
• Experience in a group training environment.
• Sales experience is an asset.

• Knowledgeable about technical aspects of strength and cardiovascular training and is engaged in ongoing self-learning.
• Prepared for each workout (note that all workouts are prepared : you will be required to spend 15-30 minutes in advance of classes to learn room layouts, cues and modifications for exercises, and timing and class structure prior to the start of each day).
