Job description

Our F45 Shawnessy family is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and charismatic Coach. F45 Coaches play a fundamental role within the team and company culture as they lead our classes, working closely with each individual member and providing the ultimate F45 experience. As an F45 Coach, you will run group training sessions, assess member fitness levels, build a community that keeps our members coming back every day, and promote the F45 brand throughout our market area.

THE POSITION

We're looking for high-quality fitness trainers to deliver team-based, high-intensity training and execute sessions at our studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coaching and motivating members through predetermined workouts
• Conducting in-person, goal-oriented consultations with trial members
• Correcting exercise form to prevent injuries
• Promoting and selling F45 services in-studio, assisting in membership growth and retention
• Leading classes with energy, safety, and attentiveness
• Demonstrating exercises with proper form and providing regressions / progressions
• Setting up, cleaning, and storing equipment before and / or after classes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a similar environment preferred
• Group or personal training experience required
• Minimum 1-year experience as a personal trainer
• Availability for 15+ classes / week, including weekends
• Strong communication, character, and care skills
• Energetic, attentive, and team-oriented
• Knowledge of functional movement, HIIT, and heart rate training
• Current fitness certification from an F45-approved entity (ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, CanFitPro)
• CPR / AED certification
• Excellent customer service and public speaking skills
• Ability to stay on your feet and active during workouts
