Who is a Host?

The Host provides friendly customer and membership services and completes daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to standards and expectations to deliver Fit4Less’ friendly, clean, and automated brand.

Job Summary:

Performs and completes cleanliness tasks and duties to ensure safety for everyone in the club to deliver consistent cleanliness for members, associates, and prospective members. Responsibilities include:

• Cleans and tidies according to outlined standards and inspection guidelines.
• Provides friendly customer interaction during cleanliness tasks on the workout floor.
• Contributes to a 'everybody cleans' mindset.
• Completes and reviews daily, weekly, and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications, and training to meet expectations.
• Reports deficiencies using standard guidelines to facilitate appropriate actions and resolutions.

Customer Service:

Provides friendly customer service following Fit4Less guidelines to ensure a positive experience for members and prospects. Responsibilities include:

• Welcomes members warmly and assists with memberships, amenities, and processes.
• Promotes black card amenities and memberships.
• Maintains a courteous and friendly workplace environment.
• Completes tasks within set timelines and communicates with management regarding customer service issues.
• Addresses and reports incidents of concern appropriately.

Membership Sales & Assistance:

Sells and suggests memberships, assists with membership management, and educates members on automated and virtual options for club access.

Ideal Candidate:

• High School diploma or working towards it.
• 1 year of teamwork or volunteer experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• WHMIS, First Aid, CPR-A & AED certifications.
• Effort-driven, calm under pressure, dedicated to customer satisfaction, and effective time management.

Compensation:

$17.20 per hour.
