Who is a Host?

The Host provides friendly customer and membership services and completes daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to standards and expectations to deliver Fit4Less’s friendly, clean, and automated brand.

Job Summary:

Performs and completes cleanliness tasks and duties to ensure safety for everyone in the club, delivering consistent cleanliness for members, associates, and prospective members:

• Cleans and tidies to the cleanliness standards and expectations outlined in cleaning and inspection guidelines.
• Provides friendly customer interaction when cleanliness tasks are being completed on the workout floor.
• Contributes to an "everybody cleans" mindset.
• Completes and reviews daily, weekly, and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications, and training to meet standard expectations.
• Reports deficiencies using standard guidelines to facilitate appropriate actions and resolutions.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

• Welcomes everyone warmly in the club with greetings such as hi, bye, and thank you.
• Assists and educates members and guests regarding memberships, amenities, automation, and processes.
• Promotes black card amenities and memberships.
• Supports a courteous and friendly workplace environment aligned with Fit4Less’s brand standards.
• Completes tasks within set timelines and adheres to communication and training protocols.
• Collaborates with managers on customer service improvements and escalations.
• Reports incidents of concern following standard procedures.

Membership Sales and Assistance:

Sells and suggests memberships, assisting with membership management and educating members on automated and virtual options for club access.

Candidate Profile:

• High School diploma or working towards it.
• At least 1 year of teamwork or volunteer experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• WHMIS, First Aid, CPR-A & AED certifications.
• Effort-driven, calm under pressure, dedicated to customer satisfaction, and effective time management.

Compensation:

$17.20 per hour.
