Who is a Host?

The Host provides friendly customer and membership services and completes daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to standards and expectations to deliver Fit4Less’ friendly, clean, and automated brand.

Job Summary

Performs and completes cleanliness tasks and duties to ensure safety for everyone in the club, delivering consistent cleanliness for members, associates, and prospective members:

• Cleans and tidies according to outlined standards and inspection guidelines.
• Provides friendly customer interaction during cleanliness tasks on the workout floor.
• Contributes to a 'everybody cleans' mindset.
• Completes and reviews daily, weekly, and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications, and training to meet standards.
• Reports deficiencies using standard guidelines to facilitate appropriate actions and resolutions.

Customer Service Responsibilities

Provides friendly customer service following Fit4Less guidelines, processes, and procedures to ensure a consistent experience:

• Welcomes everyone warmly in the club.
• Assists and educates members and guests about memberships, amenities, automation, and processes.
• Promotes black card amenities and memberships.
• Maintains a courteous and friendly workplace environment.
• Completes tasks within set timelines.
• Follows daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, communications, and training.
• Works with the manager on customer service and escalation issues.
• Reports incidents of concern using standard processes.

Membership Sales and Education

Sells and suggests memberships and assists with membership management, educating members on automated and virtual options.

Ideal Candidate

• High School diploma or working towards it.
• At least 1 year of teamwork or volunteer experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• WHMIS, First Aid, CPR-A & AED certifications.
• Effortful, calm under pressure, dedicated to meeting expectations.
• Values time and uses it effectively.

Compensation

$15.00 per hour.
