A leading importer of athletic apparel and accessories is seeking a talented Fit and Spec Technician to create tech packs, collaborate with designers, and manage quality controls. Our client, a leading importer of athletic apparel and accessories, is seeking a talented Fit and Spec Technician to join their team!


Responsibilities:
  • Create tech packs and communicate with overseas suppliers
  • Enter product information in PLM to assist designers as needed
  • Prepare fit comments on samples and collaborate with designers on comments to be sent to factories
  • Organize quality controls on samples and during production
  • Take sample measurements and list spec comments for factories
  • Schedule fit sessions with designers
  • Track samples and update tracking files based on maker information
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign required
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office applications
  • Deep knowledge of garment construction and fit; technical garment knowledge is a plus, patternmaking is an asset
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player
