The successful candidate must work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines; process and reconcile all payrolls as scheduled; complete associated reports and submit funds by wire to various vendors; generate various reports and files from Workday software; process certain amounts withheld and matched from employees' salary after each payroll; set up various liabilities and oversee associated payments eliminating payables and conduct fiscal year-end tasks; respond to and assist employees; monitor and correct personnel actions; perform reconciliations; and perform other duties as assigned. Occasional work after hours and on weekends may be required.
The formal education equivalent of a baccalaureate degree in general business, finance, or related field; knowledge of human resources principles and practices; ability to prepare, present, and review oral and written information; interpret and apply policies; proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications; self-motivated and able to work independently; effective communication skills with diverse groups. Other education or experience may be substituted upon approval.
