CBC / Radio-Canada is offering a unique paid training program designed for Indigenous communicators, focusing on storytelling and media representation. Participants will engage with experts and learn how to tell impactful stories while building a professional network and portfolio.

This unique training program bridges First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities with Radio-Canada's regional stations. It provides Indigenous communicators a platform to share their voices and promotes better representation of First Peoples in the media.
Entirely virtual, the paid training lasts 4 weeks (November 3 to November 28, 2025), focusing on narrative storytelling. Participants will learn from Indigenous and non-Indigenous trainers, express themselves, tell their stories, and showcase their communities, languages, and successes.
The "First Peoples - Tell Us a Story" program is open to all French-speaking and Francophile Indigenous individuals with foundational communication skills who can enrich Radio-Canada's content nationwide.
Participants can join from their preferred location, whether in their community or at a Radio-Canada regional station.
During the 4 weeks, candidates will engage with Indigenous and non-Indigenous professionals in various storytelling formats.
