This unique training program bridges First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities with Radio-Canada's regional stations. It provides Indigenous communicators a platform to share their voices on Radio-Canada's various platforms nationwide, promoting better representation of First Peoples in media.
Entirely virtual, this paid training lasts 4 weeks (November 3 to November 28, 2025), focusing primarily on narrative storytelling. Participants will gain practical knowledge from Indigenous and non-Indigenous trainers, express themselves, tell their stories, and showcase their communities, languages, realities, and successes.
The "First Peoples - Tell Us a Story" program is open to all French-speaking and Francophile Indigenous individuals with foundational communication skills who can enrich Radio-Canada's content across the country.
