Job summary

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a Community Health Nurse to deliver core nursing services in remote First Nations communities within the Interior region. You will support health promotion, disease prevention, and primary care for individuals, families, and communities.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing, BCCNM registration, and a valid Class 5 BC driver’s license, with at least one year of relevant experience and knowledge of First Nations cultural protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university.
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions in remote First Nations communities.
• Deliver health promotion and disease/injury prevention.
• Support primary care for individuals, families, groups and communities.
