Hilton Garden Inn Vaughan Toronto is opening its brand-new 272-room hotel in Vaughan, ON, and is seeking passionate kitchen team members. You will prepare meals in accordance with recipes, support line service, and help ensure timely guest satisfaction from day one.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years in food preparation, and culinary training or Red Seal if available. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on sanitation and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow recipes and brand standards.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals for respective section(s) and coordinate the pass/pick-up to ensure high-quality items are served promptly.
• Organize the day’s prep for cooks and restaurants; supervise line setup and prep.
• Assist with inventory, receiving items, and notifying supervisor of low stock.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness to meet Health Board and hotel requirements.
• Report unsafe equipment and assist in training kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with Sales, Catering, Banquets and other departments; interact with guests as needed.
