CLIENT INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO REGION

POSITION LOCATION: Thunder Bay, ON

POSITION TYPE: Full time, Permanent

POSTING DATE: April 8, 2025

St. John Ambulance Ontario is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and ambitious individual to take the role of Client Instructional Service Representative for our St. John Ambulance operations in Northwestern Ontario. Based out of Thunder Bay, the successful candidates will contribute to St. John’s success by providing a wide range of instructional, customer service and administrative support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Teach first aid and other relevant health & safety courses both at branch facilities and off site locations
  2. Respond to incoming inquiries regarding training classes, first aid kits and products from the public
  3. Respond to, or forward as appropriate, incoming email enquiries from general email, and D365 leads
  4. Assist with coordinating Instructor Development workshops
  5. Represent branch at community/corporate level events i.e. trade shows, presentations or wellness days
  6. Maintain safety data sheets and workplace safety notice board at facilities
  7. Restock classrooms with appropriate supplies
  8. Ensure all training equipment is fit for purpose
  9. Prepare paperwork for classes including printing certificates and file paperwork appropriately
  10. Maintain A/R, and follow up on outstanding invoices
  11. Market courses and products to students during classes
  12. Assist with various duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Minimum of one-year successful experience in office administration
  2. Excellent customer service / interpersonal skills
  3. Strong communication skills; both written and oral
  4. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including CRM software
  5. Instructional experience / willingness to complete Instructor Development Program
  6. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  8. Ability to travel within the Northwestern Ontario area
  9. Must have access to a vehicle
