First Light Technologies is seeking an experienced Firmware Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware powering next-gen solar lighting products in our Victoria, BC office. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver cloud-connected embedded systems from concept through production.
The role requires a degree in EE/CE/CS and 5+ years of embedded firmware experience, with strong C and RTOS skills.
This role is on site in the office 5 days a week in Victoria at Government and Hillside. There is no option for hybrid or remote work for this role at this time.

As the company continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Firmware Developer to join their engineering team in Victoria. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development of next-generation connected lighting products while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering team.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, Engineering & Innovation, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the embedded firmware that powers First Light's products from concept through production.
Working closely with firmware, hardware, software, manufacturing, and product teams, you'll help build cloud-connected embedded systems while supporting product releases, manufacturing, and future platform architecture.
