INDUSTRIAL FIREFIGHTERS FULL-TIME Opportunity

Location: Houston, Texas

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

We are hiring Industrial Firefighters passionate about firefighting and patient care, with a drive to succeed and deliver high-quality service.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, Industrial Firefighters train for and perform duties related to emergency and hazardous situations in fire suppression and emergency operations within an industrial facility. The role involves firefighting, rescue work, routine maintenance, and safety procedures. This position is safety-sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Respond promptly and safely to fires, using hoses, nozzles, hand tools, or a combination thereof.
2. Follow established procedures and instructions during emergencies.
3. Use all relevant apparatus, tools, and equipment correctly and promptly.
4. Remain calm and controlled in emergency situations, gaining rapid control.
5. Provide first aid at the appropriate level of training.
6. Analyze situations with life safety threats and apply correct treatments.
7. Operate company vehicles and equipment safely.
8. Maintain fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment in good condition.
9. Keep the company base and grounds clean and orderly.
10. Perform routine non-firefighting tasks, including paperwork and record-keeping.
11. Work effectively as part of a team during emergency and non-emergency scenes.
12. Meet physical requirements necessary for firefighting tasks.
13. Stay updated on modern fire suppression tactics and procedures.
14. Project a professional image to clients as a fire service professional.
15. Follow policies and procedures effectively.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment physical for firefighters.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Obtain and maintain TSA TWIC card or equivalent if required.
• Possess EMR, EMT-B, EMT-A, Paramedic, or equivalent certification.
• Hold AHA CPR/AED credentials or equivalent.
• Complete Physical Agility Fitness Test (initial and annual).
• Firefighter 1 Academy certification, State FF1, Volunteer Firefighter Certification, NFPA 1081, or Military Firefighter Equivalent.
