Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in electronics, electrical, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience servicing fire alarm systems.
  • Valid C.F.A.A certification.
  • Valid Provincial Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality work independently and recommend improvements.
  • Test and commission fire alarm systems.
  • Complete reports and documentation related to work performed.
  • Inspect fire alarm systems per Can / ULC S536 standards.
  • Verify fire alarm systems per CAN / ULC S537 standards.
  • Inspect fire extinguishers per NFPA-10 standards.
  • Inspect emergency lighting per local authority requirements.
  • Communicate with customers to identify issues.

Role Summary:

Chubb Fire and Security is looking for a Level 2 Fire Technician to join the team. The main duties include verifications, inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fire alarm systems installed at customer sites. The role also involves maintaining emergency systems such as emergency lighting and portable fire extinguishers. On-call rotation and overtime may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality work independently and recommend improvements to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Test and commission fire alarm systems to ensure building occupancy can be taken.
  • Complete reports and documentation related to work performed.
  • Inspect fire alarm systems per Can / ULC S536 standards.
  • Verify fire alarm systems per CAN / ULC S537 standards.
  • Inspect fire extinguishers per NFPA-10 standards.
  • Inspect emergency lighting per local authority requirements.
  • Communicate with customers to identify issues with fire alarm systems.

Job Requirements:
