Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Fire Suppression Team in Oakville, ON.

In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of Fire Suppression Systems and Equipment at customer sites across Southern Ontario. While based out of our Oakville branch, this position requires travel to various customer locations.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain Fire Suppression Systems and related equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide effective service solutions.
• Conduct site-specific training for owners and end-users.
• Serve as the face of Levitt-Safety, ensuring exceptional service and safety support for our customers.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a mechanical shop or a hands-on role with vehicles or other motorized equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude, with experience using power and hand tools.
• Experience, education, or training in fire protection and/or suppression systems is a strong asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol testing as well as criminal background checks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with technology and mobile devices.

Physical Safety Requirements:

This is a physically demanding and safety-sensitive role involving various types of equipment and work environments. As such the following are core requirements for this role:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Physically able to work in restricted or confined workspaces, including using ladders and walkways on large equipment.
