Job summary

Infinity Fire Protection Inc. is seeking a skilled installation technician to join our Regina, SK crew. You will install fire sprinkler pipes and heads, read drawings, measure and cut materials, and connect systems to the water supply.

You’ll work with other trades and supervisors to complete projects on site, while maintaining safety and keeping the work area organized. Responsibilities include testing systems for leaks, repairing damaged components, and assisting with material handling at job

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Ability to measure, cut, and assemble pipe sections accurately.
• Adherence to safety rules and site regulations.
• Good manual dexterity and use of common hand and power tools.
• Ability to work with others and follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler pipes and heads as per plans.
• Read drawings to locate installation points.
• Measure and cut pipes to required sizes.
• Connect pipes with fittings, couplings, or threads.
• Install valves, hangers, brackets, and other parts.
• Connect system to water supply and test for leaks.
• Repair or replace damaged components and perform maintenance.
• Load, unload, and move pipes and equipment on site.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area clean.

Job Duties:

• nstall fire sprinkler pipes and sprinkler heads in buildings.
• Read drawings to understand where pipes and sprinklers need to be installed.
• Measure and cut pipes to the required size.
• Connect pipes together using fittings, couplings, or threads.
• Install valves, hangers, brackets, and other sprinkler system parts.
• Connect the sprinkler system to the building's water supply.
