Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Manager, Fire Protection to lead growth and delivery of its Fire Protection and Life Safety practice in Central and Western Canada. You will shape a growing team, build trusted client relationships, and connect local clients with a national and global network of specialists.

Role blends technical leadership, business development, project delivery, and people management across buildings, transportation, defence, energy, and other complex infrastructure markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Fire Protection; related discipline; graduate degree is a plus.
• P.Eng. registration or eligibility required or asset.
• 10+ years of fire protection, life safety consulting experience; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead market development and client leadership for Western and Central Canada Fire Protection practice.
• Oversee proposals, staffing, fees, scopes, and technical approaches for strategic pursuits.
• Coach engineers, designers, and technical staff; manage workload and resources.
• Provide technical oversight on fire protection systems, fire alarm and life-safety solutions, and code compliance.
• Engage with clients, regulators, and authorities having jurisdictions; drive project delivery and quality.
