Job description

In this position, the successful candidate will report to the Supervisor and the Manager of the Fire Extinguisher Division.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Perform scheduled servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders.
  • Perform hydrostatic testing and repair of fire hoses.
  • Assist on-road technicians with various required tasks.
  • Perform deliveries/pickups at customer locations and suppliers as required.
  • Pick orders to prepare for shipping.
  • Receive and store stock in designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the shop and work area.
  • Perform pickups and deliveries to other branches of Classic Fire Protection Inc.
  • Order stock items from suppliers as needed.
  • Repair service equipment as required.
  • Comply with the company's dress code policy.
  • Respirator fit testing is required (must be clean-shaven for this test).
  • Must be punctual, self-motivated, and have a good command of the English language.
  • Must have a clean driving abstract.
  • Must have knowledge of hand tools needed to perform the work.
